At over 100 years old, this piece of Australian Jarrah burr wood is extremely rare and has an almost magical, crystal-like quality to its grain.  It has been in our Client's family for over 60 years when they asked us to "do something with it" - something to show off the beauty and provenance of this gem of a piece of wood demands respect and careful consideration.

After much thought, we agreed it would best be preserved as a side table, allowing it to be admired and seen close up.  We wanted Nature to be seen at Her best! 

We polished the top surface to a very fine sheen to draw out the incredibly rich tones and subtle grains and complemented the burr form with clear panels, suspending the burr in the air.

The burr can now be seen in all its glory to visitors and a very proud and delighted owner.
